Coming up we are facing a decision that needs to be made. And here’s how I see it…
If you’re a mouse stuck in a drawer in someone’s kitchen, you want to find your way out but you can’t because every drawer is closed. So you end up stuck. There’s evidence that you’re there because you keep leaving your droppings behind only to come back and face the same reality.
Then one day, you see a way out. There’s an opening, so you take it and now you’re free. You are roaming around the house in all your glory. But what you didn’t see coming was that this house has a cat. And the cat knows you’re free.😳 Now you’re being chased by this animal that either wants to play with you or eat you for dinner. So you hide out until you feel it’s safe to come back out.
Then the cat tires out from chasing the mouse (you) all night and waiting and now thinks you’re gone. So the cat goes for it’s nap because you’ve worn the big furry one out. It’s at this time you plan your escape.
So what do you do? Do you keep going until you’re finally free and back outside? Or do you go back to the kitchen and get back in the drawer where you feel safe?
There’s an opening coming up and an opportunity to advance forward. The question is…what will you do? Have you had enough of being stuck? Or do you feel that safe is where you want to be right now? Whatever you decide whatever direction you choose to go in is right for you.
But ask yourself…where do you feel that you have lost your power? Where exactly in your life do you feel that you have absolutely no control over?
There’s something that you see that you may be resisting out of fear. So either you will choose to go back to your comfort zone in the drawer because you’re afraid of the cat catching you, or you’ll choose to stay free and roam to where you want to go.
This decision that we now face is just in time for the New Moon. What new beginnings are you hoping for because I see forward momentum starting to take place and it all starts with what you choose to do.
If 2020 has taught us anything is that we must be courageous especially as it pertains to our happiness and wellbeing. So whatever is calling your attention right now, whatever it is that you’ve had enough of, whatever needs to change before you lose your marbles…is in your hands.
YOU get to decide how your story plays out, no one else can do that for you. So follow your heart, do what calls you, be in passion and do what feels right for you. Because in the end, we are all mice just trying to break free of the kitchen drawers. 🐭💗
